Having built her career on the foundations of old school hair care, Susan nurtures each of her clients in the same way she nurtures their hair. Outside of the salon, Susan educates other natural stylists on proper styling techniques, lobbies for legislation that protects natural hair such as the C.R.O.W.D. Act, created the Natural Hair Industry Convention to nurture the industry, and collaborates with dermatologists to provide hair loss education to beauty professions via her S.T.R.A.N.D. program.
