A figurehead in the natural hair industry, Susan is a Master Natural Hair Care Specialist with over 40 years in the natural hair industry. Susan has deep ties within the natural hair industry, having owned and operated Brooklyn’s first natural hair salon, advocated for the passing of the CROWN Act, and is dedicated to teaching cosmetologists hair-loss-safe styling techniques. Now, Susan is leading the industry in science-backed hair loss education for cosmetologists in collaboration with dermatologists through The S.T.R.A.N.D. Network.

Quarita Futrell, founder of On the RUNNN Salon is a hair stylist and educator dedicated to all things hair. She is Deva Curl Certified, Slayology Certified, Platinum Seamless Certified, Trichology Practitioner, former network educator for Bumble and Bumble, Vidal Sasson- London Trained Pro, Oribe Backstage Stylist, Slayology Pro, and Master Cosmetologist. She has collaborated on industry and celebrity photoshoots and campaigns from Black Film Feast, BET, Donna Karen, Backstage Pat McGrath, Sephora, Coach, Netflix, Amazon, Dell, and Disney.

Quarita is a S.T.R.A.N.D. (Stylists training, researching, and networking with dermatologists) Certified Stylists, and is trained in monitoring and treating hair loss in collaboration with dermatologists.
